PROPAGANDA The term “propaganda” is often associated with a manipulative approach and is characterized by the deliberate spreading of ideas, information, or rumors to help or harm an institution, cause, or person. Movies are most popular and frequent form of Propaganda. This is often said that the present Utopian form of propaganda is developed, planned and propagated by the son of famous psychiatrist Sigmund Freud. There are movies in Bollywood which are specifically made to influence Nepal Public. Leaving all the good old days movies some of present days movies are discussed one by one.
The Boy from Kathmandu
A Mohammedan actor Hameed Sheikh played a Hindu pundit Nepali returning from foreign studies and has adopted mohammedanism.
Movie fervently shows mohammedanism in good and non-voilent image.
He says he is going to join ISIS, which is terrorist organisation like Al-Quaida.
In the end he succeeds in trapping a Hindu girl who happens to be played by Annapurna Sharma.
Annapoorani
This is a ongoing NETFLIX movie also shown on Indian air by ZeeTV.
A Hindu Brahman girl is shown that how her gods are non-vegetarian.
She is shown as she is very fearful to go into a cooking reality show.
She starts to do mohammedan prayer of reading Kalma and in the end she is shown winning the competition because of her prayer. Later marries her mohammedan boyfriend after converting her faith into Mohammedanism sect. Indian public complained to Police and I&B Minister Anurag Thakur directed Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as an effect ZeeTV wrote a public apology and stopped airing of the movie today itself.
Kathmandu Connection
mysterious murder of the investigating officer and then kidnapping of a hotelier and the stalking of a journalist such things are seldom happening in Kathmandu. But this is ok for showing Nepal in mildly dangerous place for visitors. Going to see Season 2 anyways both are inspired by true events and are work of fiction.
Conclusion
It is a wonder that Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcast Development (AIBD) and Nepal Television (NTV) are deliberately passing these movies which are never allowed to be on air in India. It is a dangerous trend to show a Terrorist Organisation in good light. Balendra Shah went running to ban Adipurush then why are these running?
Another point where I apologise to be taking a over the moon shot and prophesying that Anna Sharma or Annapurna Sharma of Jerryy fame will be doing another film remake of NETFLIX Annapoorani. This is totaly true given to the weight of the fact that the Annaporna Mountain range is in Nepal. This is a sure upcoming movie with her role as leading actress. Later in life she may remarry and possibly with a mohammedan. May be her sisters will be targeted. This will aid conversions for mohammedan and missionaries.
I urge to my readers to elongate the list and add more movies and serials where you have seen such a trends. Come on go on mates !!
